Profile Picture

I just wanted to post this profile picture I made for my friend today.  I am really enjoying creating pictures but sometimes the hair can just be soooo difficult to work with. So if anyone has any magical tips out there I would love to know them.  I have had to chop away a lot of the little fine fly away hairs for this picture because too much white was showing even after erasing lots of it.

I just wanted to write about a place I visited yesterday.  It was very odd I was on the hunt as usual for some gift items when I happened to notice an avatar standing with the most pretty dress on...well me being me I felt the need to tell her how pretty it was. Well long story short I thought hmmm wonder where this lovely creation is from and figured may be able to see from the groups in her profile...and so it goes on stay with me because it is well worth it.  Anyways I noticed in her profile that she was owner of a Builds and Poses store and thought YAY go grab me some poses.

On arrival just inside the store there is a wall display with lots of poses on sale for 20ls and as I set about grabbing them I noticed in chat the owner (yes the lady in the lovely dress) was saying hellooo to me.  Well after explaining I was not some scary stalker, we got chatting and she showed me around the store..lots of fantastic poses mostly for 99ls...great poses, great prices.  They also had a fantastic range of swings with such great detail.  To top it off owner was a real sweetie....and even gifted me a fabby pose...thanks Wetcat Flux.

The Sea Hole - Harem Jumpsuit

Yes Yes it is another post about The Sea Hole...I just can not help myself....I LOVE, LOVE this store..sooo damn super cute.  I love the textures, prices, mixtures of styles and all the bright colours! Well back to my post it is about the Harem Jumpsuit it is soooo cute with the frill prim attachment on the chest and the detail on the bottom of the trousers/pants. I added a pair of black Firenze heels from Similar Footwear and I was good to go (skydiving with my jumpsuit I hear you ask....no no no..shopping of course!)

Making Pictures

I just love making pictures on Sl I find it thoroughly therapeutic! Nothing like being up in the sky taking some pictures and fiddling around on Photoshop doing some editing. Sadly my graphics card is super low and until I do get my new computer I really can't take great in-world pictures.  I am looking forward to the day when I can play in-world without having to edit and being able to activate the shadows and see some of the light effects within Sl.  Last night I was making some pictures of myself and a couple of friends.

Maitreya Bubble Skirt Dress

Well tonight has been the usual ritual of dig through my inventory for something to wear. That digging normally consists of numerous outfit trials along with a shock of "ohh my goodness I need therapy".  I do not know how many times I have said I need therapy on Sl but I do know that I sit at the level of ridiculous shopaholic stakes!

Anyhooooo I came across this cute little number that I bought at Maitreya.  It is such a pretty cerise colour, has a bubble skirt, see through black lace panel at the breast leading up to the neck and sits nicely above the knee accentuating any lovely long legs. This could be one of my New Year's party numbers (well it makes the list to be narrowed down..big...HUGE list lol)

I picked up this great little Emery dress at The Dressing Room Blue today.  I think it is very cute and teamed with a great pair of Lelitka heels makes those long legs just look amazing!. I love when the Dressing Room has new items because you pick up some great Designer items at a fraction of the price.  Makes me one happy, happy shopping bunny!

Laqroki released a new skin called Vilda, I just adore their skins and this one feels to me like the creme de la creme! It comes with ten make-up options, in the photograph I am wearing number 10, its my fave well at least for now. They also have a very festive subscribe gift, which contains a Christmas Holiday Vilda skin.

I have recently been experimenting and trying to get Photoshop to like me...even just a little.  I find sitting fiddling with virtual pictures fun and therapeutic. I like trying to see what I can come up with..I am under no illusions that I am a complete novice but as someone just said to me earlier "practice makes perfect".  Anyway I just wanted to post a couple of my shots.  I really should be taking some pictures of items purchased on my recent shopping trips but as usual I am distracted.

Missing In Action

I just wanted to quickly make this post.  I have recently been a loner in Sl spending a lot of my time in the sky alone or with one very special companion but recently I have been fortunate to come across a couple of lovely ladies.  For me it is great when you meet genuinely nice and friendly people it reminds me why I found myself on Sl in the first place. I think I have became saddened on there recently, mainly because of other peoples behaviours and how they treat people. I think Sl is full of people that just want to boost their own ego's, which to me is pathetic....yes real feelings play a part in Sl but after all it is a Virtual World and to me merely a game.  Yes we all have our own opinions and experiences but I honestly feel kindness costs nothing.  For me the shallowness of Sl became apparent when I had started a job (now I don't really know what I was thinking). I had the experience of having a manager talking to me like dirt whilst I sat thinking good lord do I really need this on a place I am trying to have fun...does RL not offer us enough hardships as it is.  Anyway this is just my opinion and as it is my blog and some what of a therapeutic diary...I am saying what I want to!

I am just glad that from day to day I come across like minded people who also follow a simple rule..treat others how you like to be treated...not hard and surely just common courtesy and basic manners.

Anyway..RANT over lol
